Composting is a natural process where organic matter breaks down in the soil and nourishes it. Food scraps, leaves, wood, etc., are all compostable. In fact, our palm leaf plates are also certified compostable.
To do composting at home, simply add our plates to your compost pile, add some twigs or leaves and let it cook. Our plates compost within 90-180 days. Once the compost is ready, you can mix it with your backyard soil to nourish it. In case you do not have a backyard, you can add all your compostable materials to a designated compost bin. Once it ends up in a landfill, the compost will automatically go back to nature.
